The Records and Tours Behind the Designs

· My Story

Many of the designs in this store come straight from my records and tours. Some carry an album title, some a lyric, and some the dates of a whole run of shows. Here's the story behind each one.

Epistlar (2021)

Epistlar is Swedish for "epistles", letters. The six-song EP followed På svenska (2020) and gave us "Josefin", my biggest song.

In the shop: the Epistlar design pairs my handwritten name and the title with a black-and-white photo of two men in dark suits facing each other through smoke.

Hommage på svenska (2023)

The name means "tribute in Swedish". In autumn 2023 my band and I toured Swedish concert halls with my own songs and classics of the Swedish ballad tradition, and the shows became the live album Hommage på svenska LIVE.

In the shop: the Hommage På Svenska design is a red poster with a photo of me singing and the band's credits in small type.

Discomforts (2024)

Discomforts brought me back to English. In my words, the album "is about love and addiction".

In the shop: the Discomforts design sets the title in an elegant italic serif, nothing more.

Josephine and the wildest wind

"Josephine", the English version of "Josefin" with Lissie, is on Discomforts, and its opening line is "she dances like the wildest wind".

In the shop: the Wildest Wind design draws a ballerina spinning in a whirlwind on the front and writes that line by hand on the back.

The Discomforts Tour (2024)

In November and December 2024 I played seven Swedish arenas, from Sandviken to Scandinavium in Gothenburg.

In the shop: the Discomforts Tour 2024 design has an orange photo on the front and all seven dates on the back.

Every design comes on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too.
